Who it’s for
Companies and teams that buy Gnista for the people who work there. A personal licence is for one named person, on their own Macs; when an organisation pays for Gnista, or deploys it through MDM, a team plan is the one to use.
No MDM? No problem. Share the key, and each person enters it in Gnista’s Settings.
What’s included
- One shared key. No collecting receipts from each person: everyone on the team activates Gnista with the same key, on as many Macs as the plan says.
- Central setup, if you want it. Through your MDM, IT can choose which agents may be connected and whether prompts may be answered in the notch, and deliver the key silently. People see “Managed by your organisation” and can’t change those settings. How to set it up.
- Invoices with your VAT number. Creem, who sell Gnista for us, issue invoices you can use for expenses and procurement. Prices include VAT.
- A document for your security review. What Gnista reads, what it never reads, every network request it makes and how approvals fail safe, on one page: Security and privacy.
- Priority support. By email, from the person who builds Gnista. Team questions are answered first.
- Keep what you paid for. Stop the plan whenever you like. Your team keeps the last version released while you paid, for good; only new updates stop.

The price is per plan, not per person, and the plan renews each year until you cancel it. Pick the size with room for every Mac your team uses: someone with two Macs takes two places. Somewhere in between? Take the next size up.

What happens if we stop paying?
You keep using the last version of Gnista released while your plan was active, for as long as you like. You just stop getting new updates. Cancel any time from Creem’s customer portal, through the link in your receipt, or write to us. The plan runs to the end of the year you paid for.
How do we move a place to another Mac?
Remove the licence in Gnista’s Settings on the old Mac, or, if the Mac is gone, write to us and we’ll free its place. Then activate the key on the new one.
Do we need MDM?
No. Share the key and everyone enters it in Settings. MDM is there if your IT team wants to deploy and configure Gnista centrally.
Can our company just buy personal licences?
A personal licence is for one named person. When a company buys Gnista for its people, or deploys it through MDM, the team plan is the right one. MDM settings only take effect with a team key.
Is there a trial for teams?
Yes, the same one as for everyone: every feature for 7 days on each Mac, no account and no card. A Mac that receives a team key through MDM skips it.
